Wedding Bells!

 Our wedding day couldn't have been more perfect! All the family and friends surrounding us the whole day, there is nothing better. The day was beautiful, it wasn't miserably hot. We got married at Christ the King Lutheran Church with a reception following at Walden Country Club. Dominic had a blast dancing and playing with all of his cousins! No major mishaps! No drama! Just Love. Thank you to the parents/family who made it all so perfect!

My New House!

We moved into our Apartment in June. Dominic calls it his "new house." He loves it! As we moved we figured we would convert him to a full size bed, no more crib. He does very well and still sleeps through the night. Every so often he will come in about 5 am and crawl in with us and go right back to sleep but I am very okay with that!!

My Little Fish!

Who would have guessed that Dominic would be a little fish?
I was a swimmer for 11 years, dad a swimmer and a swim coach for 30+ years!!
He just loves the water and has no fear! He has been in the pool since he was 3 months old and at 27 months is Diving, using floaties, going under and holding his breath, puts his face in and kicks and swims! It's awesome! Loves to jump into the pool and swim to you... he does most of this for his PaPa!

In other news, we are almost completly potty trained. 28 months and we only wear a pullup at night :)

YAY Mommy!

YAY! I am officially a college graduate! University of Houston class of 2010 with a BS degree in Exercise Science! SO thankful for all my family and friends that were able to attend!

Fun with family and Friends!

March was a busy month for us! My best friend Jennifer got married so we took a road trip up to Belton and Austin for the weekend for her wedding and to see Dominic's Great Grandparents! Akeil & I went up early and then Grammy & Papa brought him up the next day. Austin was fun, he got to play and have fun at the parks!

Easter was fun! We spend Easter with Akeil's family every year and this year it was at Mamitas house! ALL the kiddos were there so Dom had a blast running around picking up Easter Eggs!

We got to go to Zion's 2nd birthday and hang out with them too!

Dom LOVES to be outside! He goes out and helps Papa wash the car and loves to pull stuff out of the garage!

Spring Break 2010

He has really started to talk, he says Chuckie (Cuh-key) and Mama, Dada, Buddy, Hi, and tries to say a few others. He just got his 6th tooth and had his first visit to the Livestock show at the rodeo with Grammy, Auntie Kelsey and cousin Sarah! We spent 2 days at Grammy and Pops house over spring break, ate some crawfish, layed out by the pool and played on the driveway!! Akeil is always skateboarding so Dominic LOVES to go outside and watch him. He always wants to be on it!

Happy 1st Birthday Dom!

Everyone tells you to enjoy it while you can because they grow up so fast. Well I guess you really don't realize what they mean until you experience it. It really seems like just yesterday we were coming home from the hospital with him. And now he is 1, walking around, and feeding himself. He waves bye-bye, gives kisses, points, and mimicking sounds. He only wants the foods you have to eat, no more baby foods at all. Loves fruits, and corndogs! At his 12 month visit he was 33 inches long and 27.5 lbs! Such a big boy. He is in the 97th percentile for both height and weight. He is sleeping 10-12 hours every night :) That makes mommy and daddy happy! And we are down to 1 bottle a day! We had a small party for him at CiCi's the weekend after his birthday, he had a good time visiting with everyone! We are so lucky to have such great friends and family that love Dominic so much!
